Review, UMaker, Raha!

June 26, 2007

Yesterday I was about to totally redo my code.  I has messed something up somewhere and I couldn’t figure out where the issue was.  But after a little help from my mentor and a “chin-up/buck-up” talk, I had the energy and will to fix my issues.

I have reorganized the code so that, for now, it is in one file, and my definitions are slowly becoming more dynamic.  I can now pass information to the definitions.

BUT THEM FROM THE BUSHES CAME!
The REVIEW!  Pete, I guess, figured it was about time.  So let’s hope I make it.   He has helped me a lot with the code and I doubt he will be that upset if at all.  It is just a little nerve racking when the only one who cared about your code was, well, me.

With the ability to read data I am not able to finalize the saving program.  It uses xml.dom one fancy little xml library to create the xml file used to store the data of books entered.

Umaker has made some slow strides.  We have some fantastic artwork coming along and with macslow registering a blueprint to have avatars be default in the ubuntu login screen.  It would be nifty to see this artwork as part of the system.  Interested?  We need as many art work ideas and contributers as possible.  More here…
UMaker The artwork is scattered threwout the posts for now… but the launchpad site should be ready very soon.

And last.. Western Union bless there 200 year old hearts.  Has money from google for me.  WOOT!  This is going straight to all my debts.  What a weight off my shoulders!
